【永利游戏】choose your way and stick it out

hope…I hope..

Grave of the fireflies

I learned about the Hiroshima and Nagasaki bombings of Japan during the
second world war. I stumbled upon the film after class looking for a
documentary about it on the Internet. After looking at it, I was so sad
that I thought I might never see it again.

This is an animated cartoon that begins with a flashback, slowly, telling
me about a boy who has been tortured during the war. There is not too
many bloody scenes, instead of big spaceof firefliesin the night sky as
foil, performed the cruelty of war — firefly in Japanese culture is a
symbol of man’s soul, said many people lost their lives in the war.

At the same time, the film also reflects the indifference of human
nature. After the main character’s mother died, he could only send his
sister to his aunt’s home in next city , but the aunt was tired of the
two sudden “burdens”, which led to the tragic death of the two orphans.

At the end of the film, the happy mood of the rich lady, with the
English song in the background, turns to the other side, the elder
brother is trying to cremate his sister’s body. When I saw this, I
couldn’t help it.

There are a lot of people on the Internet commenting that this movie is
a bad movie. “Nationalism” is really a terrible thing, it can start
wars, and it can create an unending hatred and prejudice. Why should we
look at this anti-war film with colored glasses, and why we distort its
political meaning and intrigue? The people in the war are the biggest
victims. They are so helpless that they can only go to great lengths to
survive. In one documentary, a pilot who took part in the bombing of the
atomic bomb was quoted as saying: “there is no soul under the atomic
bomb.” Why would you use such awful language to satirize thistwo
children? Why use cruel words to joke about the heavy death?

Johnson said; “Wars make most people bleed, but they feed a few.” The
Japanese goverment, for its own sake, buried countless innocent people.
But it is also called forthe country. In this environment, the national
inferiority of the Japanese nation is infinitely magnified. I believe
that man is human because of human nature. Ionly hope that there are
less people in the society who are indifferent.

think it is really lovely , you r so good with words, who cares it’s not
getting published. There are so many beautiful …..painful things about
it. Did you really go thru all that? Must have been awful. And the
sister character ..Geez…What a wreck! But i have to say that , i was
really confuesd by the ending, i mean, did the father finally commit
suicide or what, it’s driving me crazy. Anyway,it turned cold and
raining here lately. but i like winter…….well, like i say Miles, I
love your novel, don’t give up, keep writing.
I hope you are well.
Bye.

重笔墨于生死的有Stay(生死停留)。Naomi说,there
is too much beauty to quit. Donnie Darko

Dear Roberta Sparrow,

Sometimes I’m afraid of what you might tell me.
Sometimes I’m afraid that you’ll tell me this is not a work of
fiction.
I can only hope that the answers will come to me in my sleep.
I hope that when the world comes to an end,I can breathe a sigh of
relief,
because there will be so much to look forward to.
